When it comes to weight training, volume and frequency must be balanced. Optimal volume is crucial for muscle hypertrophy. Too little volume and you will get little results. Too much volume can cause injury and even worse results from a harder workout. If you train too often, your muscles will be overloaded, resulting in injury and worse results.
There are some distinct differences between strength and power training. While the two terms are often used interchangeably, they differ slightly in their emphasis on different aspects of the body. Strength training focuses on increasing overall strength, while power training focuses on explosiveness and speed. As a result, the lighter weights tend to require more repetitions, sets, and time under tension than heavier ones.
